Beaverton, Ore. – Advanced American Telephones (AAT), which manufactures AT&T-branded telephones under a license agreement with AT&T Intellectual Property, today announced its 2010 DECT 6.0 product line, featuring systems with unsurpassed range and wireless BLUETOOTH® capabilities that connect cellular and landline calls all in one device.
“We designed the new AT&T systems to address the consumer shift toward cellular use – without sacrificing the usability, range and loaded features that consumers love in our products,” said Matt Ramage, senior vice president, product management, Advanced American Telephones. “By combining several useful features, we’ve created the ultimate communications tools for any household or small office/home office professional.”
The new AT&T TL86109 two-line corded/cordless phone system combines DECT 6.0 technology with BLUETOOTH wireless features, enabling users to make and receive both landline and cellular calls for the most convenient and reliable communication in home or small office. With the TL86109, it’s easy for homes or small offices to manage all calls with one device, for under US$200.
Up to four BLUETOOTH devices (cell phones, smart phones, headsets) can be registered on the TL86109, and two cellular phones can be connected to the TL86109 at one time. This feature also allows users to take a landline call on one handset, while another handset can be used simultaneously for a cellular call.
In addition to BLUETOOTH call capabilities, the TL86109 is capable of downloading up to 6,000 cellular phonebook directory entries – no more entering contacts into the landline handset manually. Featuring unsurpassed cordless range that is up to 45 percent better than other models on the market, the TL86109 is expandable with up to 12 cordless handsets using the TL86109 accessory handset (sold separately), ensuring accessibility to calls anywhere in the home or small office.
Similar to the TL86109, the new AT&T TL92270 features BLUETOOTH technology and can store up to four BLUETOOTH-enabled devices. The TL92270 comes bundled with two handsets and users also can download cellular phonebook directory entries (up to 6,000) to the system, offering an excellent solution for “cord cutters” who use cell phones for primary communication, but don’t enjoy dropped calls or keeping their cell phones on them while in the house.
For landline callers, the TL92270 will easily connect a landline call on one handset while it also connects another handset for a cellular call, acting as a virtual two-line phone and ensuring that no call will be missed or dropped while at home.
The new CL82300 and AT&T TL32100 feature sleek handsets with metallic finishes, as well as DECT 6.0 technology and provide unsurpassed talk range.
The CL82300 comes with three handsets, and can be expanded with up to 12 handsets (using the CL80100 accessory handset, sold separately), for convenient calling anywhere in the home.
Making its debut in the TL32100 is AT&T’s Audio Assist, which allows consumers to temporarily increase call volume using an equalizer, or choose from four audio profiles for the clearest calls possible. For optimum readability, the TL32100 has an extra-large handset and a white backlit LCD with black text.
