Responsibilities:
- Assist to develop and implement Company strategic sourcing plan
- Collaborate with purchasing team at Hong Kong and Dongguan to meet the Sub-Business Unit's goal
- Lead to follow the developed and implemented strategic suppliers to meet customer and Business Unit needs
- Source electronic and mechanical components in effective and efficient manner
- Perform benchmarking, market trend analysis and pricing negotiations
- Handle RFQ and provide input to determine quoted cost to customers that is competitive
- Assess suppliers’ capabilities and technologies to match company quality and delivery requirements
- Manage suppliers contracts to ensure service level commitments are fulfilled
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material control and purchasing for electronics, plastic and metal parts and have at least 2 years supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge in Supply Chain Management and understanding of EMS industry
- Solid experiences in sourcing and supplier quality assessment in China
- Proficient in vendor sourcing, cost negotiation and SAP and MS office, including Words / Excel / PowerPoint
- Responsible, independent and effective communication skills with suppliers and customers
- Fluent in written and spoken Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua) and English
- Willing to stay in our PRC Dongguan factory 3 days per week
- Less experiences will be considered as Senior Buyer
