Hong Kong — VTech Holdings Ltd. (HKSE: 303; LSE: VTH; ADR: VTKHY) today announced the appointment of two senior executives to the Board. Effective from 11 April 2007, VTech\u2019s Group Chief Operating Officer Mr. Edwin Ying Lin Kwan and Group Chief Technology Officer Mr. Pang King Fai now serve as Executive Directors of the Group.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ying, 54, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hong Kong, with more than 30 years\u2019 experience in electronics manufacturing. He joined VTech in 1986 and left the Group as Chief Executive Officer of Electronic Learning Products business in 2004. Mr. Ying rejoined the Group in December 2006 as Group Chief Operating Officer.<\/p>\n
Mr. Pang, 51, joined VTech in 2004 as Group Chief Technology Officer with more than 20 years\u2019 experience in design engineering for consumer electronics products. With a PhD (EE) from Stanford University, Mr. Pang is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong where he is an Honourary Professor of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department.<\/p>\n
