Hong Kong<\/strong> \u2013 Advanced American Telephones, which manufactures AT&Tbranded telephones under a brand license agreement with AT&T, today introduced new 2.4 and 5.8 GHz additions to the AT&T cordless phone product line. Suitable for any small business or home user budget, these new systems offer attractive designs and a myriad of options such as color LCD displays, musical ringtones and Digital Spread Spectrum technology for the ultimate in privacy and security.<\/p>\n

The new AT&T 5.8GHz EP5995 cordless phone joins the top of the AT&T line with its full-color display and other top-of-the-line features. This premium cordless phone offers the latest technology innovations like integrated digital answering system, assignable musical ringtones, colorful wallpapers, speakerphones in both the handset and base and battery backup in case of power failure. Expandable up to eight handsets, the phone system also features frequency hopping Digital Spread Spectrum technology to ensure the best call clarity and security, plus complete protection from wireless LAN interference.<\/p>\n

Corded\/Cordless Model for Home Office Security and Flexibility<\/h6>\n

The AT&T 5.8GHz E5908 offers home office users high performance with the security of a corded base, plus the flexibility of a cordless handset for easy use throughout the home. The E5908 system features a fully integrated digital answering system with 15 minutes of recording time, and the corded desk set can be used in the event of a power failure.<\/p>\n
