Order Planning and Data Analyst Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze forecast, cost and ordering data from multiple sources including ERP systems

  • Conduct detailed cost analysis across suppliers and components

  • Identify cost variances and investigate root causes

  • Develop cost models to support pricing decisions and profitability analysis

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize sourcing requirements for new product development projects

  • Work closely with the forecasting team to plan and forecast material requirements based on demand projections

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, monitoring and expediting orders as necessary

  • Implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete materials

  • Monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement improvement initiatives when necessary

  • Stay informed about relevant regulations, certifications, and industry standards related to sourcing and material planning

     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (A master’s degree is a plus)

  • Proven experience in order or material planning, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

  • Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, inventory management, and production planning

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP and Oracle are preferred) and other supply chain software tools

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
