Bocholt – With the new Gigaset BasicLine IP, Gigaset introduces an IP-DECT solution that brings flexible and convenient internet telephony into the home. The new series is available in two versions: as the Gigaset BasicLine IP base station and as the Gigaset BasicLine IP + COMFORT 500HX set including handset.
Two versions for different needs
The Gigaset BasicLine IP is a powerful IP-DECT base station for VoIP telephony. It supports up to four phone numbers, enables four simultaneous external calls and allows connection of up to six DECT handsets. This makes the system ideal for families with multiple users, households managing separate private and business numbers, home office applications, or small offices.
Those who prefer to start right away with a matching handset can choose the set consisting of the base station and handset: Gigaset BasicLine IP + COMFORT 500HX. It combines the flexible IP base with a comfortable, high-quality handset.
Everyday comfort
The Gigaset COMFORT 500HX handset features a large color display, intuitive user interface and HD voice quality for clear conversations. Illuminated keys and a hands-free function provide added convenience – ideal for longer calls in the home office or everyday family use.
The BasicLine IP is conveniently set up via a web-based configurator. Phone numbers and settings can easily be managed via PC, laptop or smartphone. At the same time, encrypted voice transmission ensures secure communication.
With ECO DECT, Gigaset also focuses on energy-efficient technology: In standby mode, the system is radiation-free, while transmission power automatically adjusts to the distance between the base and the handset during a call.

With the BasicLine IP, Gigaset expands its consumer portfolio with a versatile IP telephony solution for modern households and home office users. Smaller, clearly structured work environments also benefit from the ability to flexibly use multiple handsets.

The recommended retail price for the Gigaset BasicLine IP is €64.99 (without power supply; €69.99 with power supply). The Gigaset BasicLine IP + COMFORT 500HX set is priced at €129.99 (RRP). Both products are available immediately from specialist retailers and in the Gigaset online shop.
