Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough factory audits to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of suppliers’ manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, identifying potential risks within the manufacturing processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives among suppliers by monitoring their corrective actions and implementing best practices.
- Develop a deep understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain logistics, including Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
- Perform regular site visits to factories in mainland China to ensure adherence to audit criteria and facilitate necessary improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering and Engineering Management, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Professional certification is preferred (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE).
- A minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with at least 3 years specifically in factory environments related to electronic product manufacturing.
- Proven experience in conducting comprehensive audits of manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including production planning and quality assurance in electronic components and plastic materials.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 45000 standards, as well as Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to factory audits.
- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with suppliers to drive quality improvements.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and lead audit engagements from initiation to completion.
- Willingness and ability to travel to mainland China (up to 70-90% of the time).
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin; strong written communication skills in English are essential.
