V.Smile introduces the magic of learning using video game format and much-loved TV and movie characters to guide children through fun learning adventures

Hong Kong – Building on the success of the award-winning V.Smileä TV Learning System, VTech Electronics Europe plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of VTech Holdings Ltd (SEHK: 303; London SE: VTH; ADR: VTKHY) announced the launch of V.Smile Baby and V.Smile enhancements at the London Toy Fair.

 

V.Smile Baby (infants aged 9-36 months)

Parents and baby can share the magic of learning with VTech’s new V.Smile Baby TV Development System. Three modes of play: Watch & Learn, Play Time and Learn & Explore, engage baby and parents in a host of developmental topics such as colours, shapes, objects, baby signing and sounds which are relayed directly to the TV screen via a portable infra red unit. Perfect for at-home play or in the car, the system is expandable with four learning software titles to choose from including Disney’s Baby Pooh and Baby Einstein.

 

V.Smile Enhancements (children aged 3-7)

Now children can let their imaginations run wild with the V.Smile Art Studio! Connecting directly to the TV through the V.Smile console, budding designers can put their creative abilities to the test and, using the interactive pen and touch pad, make works of art that come to life on screen!

 

Exercise your brain and your body with V.Smile Dance ’n Learn! Children can strut their stuff while they learn by pressing the nine touch-sensitive spots on the mat which connects directly to the V.Smile console. Complete with Jammin’ Gym Class learning game, the V.Smile Dance ’n Learn has 10 activities including: physical exercise, music, dance, math, colours and more! Friends can compete and play together with two-player mode and additional dancing mat (available separately).

 

V.Smile Pocket (children aged 5-9)

For kids on the go, V.Smile Pocket is the perfect answer to learning anytime, anywhere! With eight new games being introduced in 2006 including Blues Clues, Noddy, 101 Dalmations, Disney’s Cars, Batman, Spiderman and Friends, Superman and V.Smile Soccer, all compatible with the V.Smile TV Learning System, kids can play and learn along with all their favourite characters, home or away!

Additional product accessories are also available including V.Smile Pocket travel bag, power pack, car adaptor and additional V.Smile TV Learning System joysticks.
