Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Source, select, and manage suppliers through negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation (KPIs).
- Market and Cost Analysis: Strong data analysis for market trends, cost analysis, and performance metrics.
- Cost Control: Compare quotes, analyze costs, negotiate aggressively, and plan budgets to secure the best prices and achieve cost-saving targets.
- Order Fulfillment: Issue purchase orders and diligently track shipments to ensure materials arrive on time to meet production schedules.
- Problem Resolution: Quickly address material quality or delivery issues with suppliers to prevent production line disruptions.
- Strategy & Process: Support the development of purchasing strategies, optimize procurement systems, and stay updated on market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., PMC, production, logistics) and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with engineering on component selection and sourcing alternatives.
Supervisory duties, leading teams, developing strategic purchasing plans, and having greater responsibility for budgeting and vendor relationship management. - Lead contract negotiations and secure long-term agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Willing to stay in DG factory in 3 days and travel to supplier sites or industry events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. Familiarity with electronic/mechanical components is a plus.
- Supervising a purchasing team or leading procurement projects.
