Responsibility:
- Lead global sourcing and procurement activities for electronic components, PCB, mechanical parts, packaging, and indirect materials.
- Develop sourcing strategies and drive annual cost reduction initiatives.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and supply agreements with strategic suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and executive-level business reviews.
- Ensure material supply continuity and mitigate supply chain risks, shortages, and allocation issues.
- Drive inventory optimization, working capital improvement, and excess inventory reduction.
- Support RFQ, NPI, customer programs, and business growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with PMT, PMC, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance to achieve business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop procurement teams to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Drive procurement process improvements, digital transformation, and compliance initiatives.
- Provide management with market intelligence, procurement performance, and risk assessments.
- Develop succession plans and build a high-performing procurement organization.
Working Experience & Skill Required:
- Minimum 10 years of procurement and supply chain experience.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience leading procurement teams.
- Mandatory experience within EMS, electronics manufacturing, OEM, ODM, or high-volume manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience managing multinational suppliers and global sourcing programs.
- Technical skills: strong expertise in Strategic sourcing, Supplier management, Cost analysis and cost modeling, Contract negotiation, Market intelligence analysis, Inventory management, MRP/ERP systems, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Procurement analytics, Risk management
- Language Requirements: Fluent English (written and spoken) and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
Qualifications Obtained:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
- MBA or professional procurement certification (CIPS, CPSM, CPM, APICS) is an advantage.
